How Often Should I Do Plumbing Maintenance?
Most experts recommend plumbing maintenance regularly to avoid more costly repairs later down the line. Preventative maintenance may include checking the shower heads and faucets before they blossom into full-blown problems. People with new houses may flush the drains with vinegar, baking soda, and boiling water to dislodge clogs. The pipes in the basement should be inspected regularly for leaks. Water heaters should be inspected at least once per year. A septic tank should be cleaned every two years, but should be checked at regular intervals.
How Can I Identify a Gas Line Problem?
Natural gas doesn't have an odor or color, but most providers add a sulphur-based scent to the gas to give it a malodorous smell. This is one way to identify a gas line problem. If you experience asphyxia or severe intoxication, you may have a gas line problem.
What Causes Water Heater Problems?
When you start to experience water heater problems, you should try to find the origin of the problem. For instance, if your water is murky, you may have sediment at the bottom of your hot water tank. The sediment clotting at the base typically occurs after many years of use. The heating element could have malfunctioned and caused the water heater problems.
How Can an AC Maintenance Save Me Money?
The air conditioner may break down and cause major discomfort to you and your loved ones. If you maintain your air conditioner, dust and dirt will not accumulate and cause premature damage or lower its efficiency. Periodically maintaining your unit will prevent necessary repairs and keep your pocket from strain.

Ryan arrived in a timely manner. He was respectful and very knowledgeable. I felt at ease with him and learned a few things from him as well. I would highly support this company and this representative for anyone seeking plumbing support as I did. I only wish I could have had service a bit earlier. I will contact again if need be! Thank you Lambert Plumbing and Heating and a big applause for Ryan Kensley!!
Always great service from Ryan @ Lambert Plumbing and Heating
Greg - Vancouver, BC V6M
We've called Lambert for 3 different kitchen plumbing projects and have been very happy with the advice, service, and quality of the work. Ryan takes time to review the work with us before getting started, gives us options for saving money on the job, and does tidy, solid, quality, drip-free work. We hate plumbing and couldn't be happier with the work from Lambert Plumbing.

I called them regarding a low water flow shower issue . Ryan the plumber assets that the old part was a bit bent and and would need to be replaced . He did give me a option , just to leave it , and live with the low water flow . But I said to replace it with a new part . Ryan did the best to minimize the cost of the repair , and would like to thank him for it .

Installed part malfunctioned
Chasiubao - Vancouver, BC V5M 2S4
While plumber seemed thorough and thoughtful in discussing the fixes, I discovered 1 hour after plumber left that the installed part (fill valve) was malfunctioning (wouldn't stop filling tank). We don't know if the malfunction was caused by the part or installation. The part was new (from Home Depot) and supplied by me, and was from a manufacturer the plumber was familiar with. The plumber said the installation and part was fine, but I did not check out its functioning right after installation. I only know that the part was not working properly shortly after the plumber left. I was told that having the plumber return to fix the problem would cost me more. I couldn't justify an extra $100 in labour costs for a $20 part, so I ended up changing out the part myself. I was not happy with the overall experience.
