HVAC Technician

We are currently seeking a dedicated full-time Journeyperson HVAC Technician to join our team.
As an HVAC Tech at Lambert Plumbing, Heating and Air, you will play an integral role in our service division, working collaboratively with a dynamic and passionate team to deliver unparalleled quality service to our valued clients.
This position has working hours, including day shifts, occasional Saturdays, on-call evenings, and overtime, as needed. You will work alongside our committed team to provide plumbing, heating, and gas installation services in both commercial and residential settings.

Your Role:
As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in resolve heating, air conditioning, gas and other related in-home service calls
  • Collaborating with customer service, dispatch, general contractors, and office team to ensure service calls and targets are met
  • Maintaining accurate records of invoices, time spent working, description of work
  • Preparing bids, budgets, and cost estimates performed, and materials use
  • Maintaining a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck
  • Participating actively in all required training exercises and meetings
  • Acting as an ambassador to Lambert Plumbing, Heating and Air and building customer loyalty and brand awareness

What You Bring:
To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Minimum 4 years HVAC experience
  • A valid Gas B Ticket
  • Valid Red Seal Refrigeration Ticket strongly preferred
  • A valid BC Driver’s License
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities
  • Proficiency in basic mathematics and conversion of measurements
  • Demonstrated and proven clean and safe driving record
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Physical ability to lift 50lbs

What You Bring:
To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in the construction and/or building industry
  • A valid Certificate of BC Trades Qualification as a Plumber, or eligibility to challenge the Red Seal exam
  • Experience with gas systems is preferred
  • A valid BC Driver’s License and a willingness to provide a driver’s abstract upon request
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional follow-through abilities
  • Proficiency in basic mathematics and conversion of measurements
  • A clean and safe driving record, with demonstrated proof
  • Physical ability to lift 50lbs
